Pius Kennedy Kiggundu
Pius Kennedy Kiggundu is an advocate for both health and legal rights for marginalized people in Uganda.
Pius is working with a number of organizations to ensure the health of marginalized persons is prioritized and provided in a more inclusive manner.
Pius advocates for Persons living with HIV by assisting with research projects, consumer discovery projects and community dialogues that help document barriers and success stories of Persons living with HIV and those at risk of acquiring the Virus.
Pius has participated in a number of research activities and discovery projects such as:
PrEP and PEP impact on key populations in Uganda conducted by Infectious Diseases Institute Makerere.
Effectiveness of self-testing kits to curb the spread of HIV amongst key populations conducted by Kuchu Shiners Uganda.
Impacts of the Anti Homosexuality Act 2023 and how it has affected the key populations in Uganda for the Africa Queer Network and the National Geographical Society.
Consumer discovery for persons living with HIV and those at risk of acquiring HIV was conducted for the HIVQuant project.
